Getting there. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR 16 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Driving directions. From Florence Vespucci Airport: Take the A1 motorway and exit for Firenze Certosa. Follow signs to the centre until Porta Romana. Drive along Via Romana and then Via Maggio. After the traffic lights, cross the bridge and, after 50 metres, reach Piazza S Trinita. There's a high column in the middle. Turn right before the column. The Della Signoria hotel is at the end of Via Delle Terme.
