Opened in January 2006, the four storey Grand Hotel Bonanno is painted in cream with flowerbeds and small trees around the main entrance. From Pisa Airport (PSA): Distance to Grand Hotel Bonanno is 3.5 kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.
Getting there. A direct train service runs between Pisa Airport and the city centre. Services also run from the airport to Pontedera, Florence, and Empoli. Single tickets cost approximately 1.20 EUR to Pisa, and 5 EUR to Florence. Buses run from outside arrivals to central Pisa, Livorno, Lucca, and Pietrasanta. Taxis to the city centre cost around 6 EUR 8 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Pisa's city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. Cycling is popular for visiting the outskirts of the city and the river. Public buses run throughout the city, and CPT buses operate throughout the region. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding Tuscan countryside. There is a car park near to the hotel (surcharge).
